Why Maltaman?

That is the name given to me by a DJ on Easy Radio called Mark Anthony who is good friend of the family. It came about when I

re-discovered Malta.

My first experience of Malta was way back in 1955 when my father who was in the Royal Marines was stationed out there for two and a half years and the family went with him.

I did not go back until the year 2000 when a very good friend of mine convinced me that I needed to have a holiday, and, from the moment I arrived on 12^th October 2000 it was like I had come home, memories came flooding back and now I cannot get enough of the place, I visit Malta at least twice a year hence the nickname. I stay in Mellieha, a village in the north of the island, it has a beautiful sandy beach just down the hill.

People say that you either love Malta or you hate it, there is no in between. I LOVE IT!

That's why I'm known as .......... Maltaman!
